I felt somehow there is no recipe of bittergourd in my blog just because hubby and daughter run away miles if I make it.I don’t make it often, but rarely make it for a change.Well,no one really knows the goodness of many vegetables,we simply make them only if our loved ones like them, don’t we?But MIL is a diabetic and there are foods she should avoid. To make something different I stumbled upon this Bitter gourd powder while searching for diabetic recipes on the net.It was easy and tasty as well. This one is a good rice mix and tastes great with rice.I always make a curry with bittergourd and iam afraid many of our friends have heard of pavakkai i.e.( bittergourd in tamil)pitlai. This one sounded new so I gave it an instant try.MIL liked it a lot and the best part is it can be stored as well for about a week.Well did you know Bitter gourd helps boost the immune system, helps lower blood sugar levels and also known to have cured skin disorders as well.Well goodness in disguise that is bitter gourd.Since the recipe has the added ingredients such as coconut and red chilly you won’t feel the bitterness at all.Let’s see the recipe as you scroll down.
