INGREDIENTS
- Black Channa/Black Chick Peas-1 cup
- Onion-1
- Tomato-1
- Ginger(grated)-1/4 tsp
- Oil-1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder-1/4 tsp
- Chaat Masala Powder-1/4 tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Coriander Leaves-a few

HOW TO MAKE
- Soak black channa overnight.Next day pressure cook with a little salt for 3 whistles.


- In a tawa add oil followed by onions.Once the oions are slightly golden,add grated ginger.


- Add chopped tomato.Now add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,chaat masala powder and salt.Toss well.


- Add cooked black channa now.Sprinkle some water so that all masalas mingle with each other.Add some freshly chopped coriander leaves.


- Serve Tawa Channa hot directly from the tawa with crispy papdis.

Notes
- You can squeeze some lime juice for tanginess.
- You can add freshly chopped green chillies for more spice.
- Add some black salt if you want to have extra chaaty feeling.
