BHINDI KURKURE

 DSC05883 When i want something crunchy, tasty and crispy and want to serve with lunch bhindi kurkure comes to my mind first.It is so yum that you can’t stop at one.I had it for the first time at  a lunch party hosted by my friend and it was served with bisi bele bath.You can have it with sambhar rice as well.There are also other options to have such as having it as a tea time snack too.So suit yourself and make it and serve as you wish.I prefer adding spices mildly,but it is entirely your choice to adjust your level. INGREDIENTS

Lady’s finger 1 cup (chopped lenghwise)
Besan/Gram flour 3 tsp
Rice flour 2 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Chaat masala powder 1/2 tsp
Oil to deep fry

HOW TO MAKE

  • Wash and chop lady’s finger lenghwise.Be sure to wipe in a dry towel before chopping.Add salt and all the powders to the bhindis and gently mix with your fingers.

  • Heat oil in pan and fry  the coated lady’s fingers in batches.Take them out once golden brown in a tissue.

  • Sprinkle Chaat masala on top and serve immediately as such as a snack or as an accompaniment to rice.

Notes

  • You can make the same kurkure with tindora asa well
  • Addition of pepper will add nice peppy taste.
  • Make sure there is no moisture before frying the lady’s finger.
  • You could add amchur powder as well for extra taste.
