DSC05836 Bread Paneer Roll is one of the easiest and quickest snack varieties which can make you feel a proud mom.Your kids are going to jump with joy for sure when you make this.I made this on a weekend and Dhivya was more than happy.Paneer is always good for children and i don’t waste a chance to include it in her diet.So this one was enjoyed by her to heart’s content.I also wanted to include corn kernels,but since i didn’t have stock,couidn’t do so.These rolls can be made for breakfast or as an evening snack.Always filling and scrumptious.

INGREDIENTS

Paneer 1 cup
Bread Slices 4-5
Chopped onions 1-2
Butter 1/2 tsp
Oil 1 tsp
Red Chilly Powder 1/2 tsp
Pav Bhaji Masala 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander Leaves a few
Salt to taste
Tomato Ketchup 2 tsp

INGREDIENTS

  • Gently scramble paneer with your hands.Add in all the dry powders,chopped onions,coriander leaves chopped and tomato ketchup and salt to taste.

  • Mix all the above ingredients to form a nice filling.Cut the edges of the bread and keep them ready.

  • Flatten with the help of a roti roller.Keep 2-3 pieces ready.The texture should smooth.Keep the filling ready and place it in the bread slice.

  • Gently roll the bread slice to meet both the ends.Seal both the ends with your hand.Alternatively seal with maida=water paste.
  • Keep the rolls ready on a plate.

  • In a tawa grease butter and gently place the rolls and fry on one side and then flip to turn the other side.

  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Notes

  • Could add corn kernels,grated carrots,moong dal sprouts also alongwith paneer for filling.
  • Adding pepper powder or chopped chilles will add extra spice to the roll.
  • Don’t avoid butter as that incorporates a nice crunch and taste to the roll.
