To satisfy a kid is one big task.All moms wonder how to satisfy with a food that is pleasing and attractive as well as healthy too.I thinking about this found this recipe of soya lollypop which is a tasty and healthy inclusion of protein in your snacks.I made a batch of these soya lolly pop as an evening snack sometime back.All enjoyed specially my daughter.I found this recipe by google searching and was happy to have stumbled into it.You can make this for kids birthday parties and please them too.Though I have made these with soya chunks,you can try this with powdered soya granules too.Tastes equally good..
INGREDIENTS
| Soya Chunks | 15 |
| Boiled Potato | 1 |
| Capsicum | 1/2 |
| Onion | 1 |
| Green Peas | a handful |
| Green Chilly | 1 |
| Red Chilli Powder | 1/2 tsp |
| Turmeric Ppwder | 1/4 tsp |
| Garam Masala | 1/2 tsp |
| Salt | to taste |
| Oil | to dee fry |
| Coriander Leaves | a few |
| Roasted Gram | 3 tsp |
| Groundnut | 3 tsp |
| Tooth Picks | a few |
HOW TO MAKE
- Boil soya chunks in water,strain and allow it to cool.
- Boil potato,mash it and keep the vegetables chopped and ready.Powder roasted gram and groundnut in a blender.Keep it aside.
- In the blender powder grind soya chunks.Add boiled potato,cut veggies,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala and salt.
- Add coriander leaves and knead well and make balls out of the dough.In a pan add oil and when heated fry in the balls till golden brown.
- Take them in akitchen tissue.
- Insert a tooth pick and serve hot with tomato sauce.
Notes
- You may add carrots ,cauliflower or any vegetable.
- You can grind green chillies and add if kids are eating.
- You can add bread crumbs too if you find the dough a little loose.
