INGREDIENTS
| Green Gram Dal | 1 cup |
| Mustard | 1/2 tsp |
| Red Chilli | 1 |
| Green Chilli | 1 |
| Curry Leaves | 1 sprig |
| Asafoetida | 1/4 tsp |
| Oil | 1 tsp |
| Salt | to tatse |
| Coconut(grated) | 3 tsp |
HOW TO MAKE
- Soak green gram dal overnight in water.Next day pressure cook it in water for 2-3 whistles adding a pinch of salt.Strain and set aside.
- In a pan add oil and mustard seeds.Add curry leaves,asafoetida,red and green chilly.Add cooked green gram and salt.
- Add grated coconut and toss well.
- Green Gram Sundal is ready.
Notes
- Adding a bit of jaggery enhances the taste.
- Be sure to soak overnight for proper cooking.
- Adding asafoetida helps in digestion.
- You can add grated gingerto aid digestion.
