Broccoli is a cousin of cauliflower which has absolute no taste of its own and so kids hate it.But broccoli has innumerable health benefits and is an excellent source of Vitamin C.It reduces the obesity and decreases the risk of heart disease and has been associated with lowering the rates of colon cancer.So wheever I get a chance,I buy this flower and try to icorporate in the meal.As I was searching for some fancy recipe to attract kiddos and also wanted to make a simple dish I stumbled upon this recipe.It is very easy and the ingredients are very few and which can be made well under 15 minutes.My daughter loved the colour,texture and ofcourse the taste.The Joys of feedingOpen-mouthed smile is truly remarkable!.Over to the flavouful recipe of Broccoli Pasta..

INGREDIENTS
Pasta 1 cup
Broccoli 1/4
Carrot 1
Onion 1
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Soya Sauce 1/2 tsp
Butter 1 tsp
Oil 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Mixed Herbs 1/2 tsp

HOW TO MAKE
  • Take brocolli and cut in to small pieces and put it hot water and take out.In a pan add oil and butter.Boil pasta and strain for later use.

  • In a pan add oil and butter.Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder.

  • Add chopped onion and fry till pink.

  • Add chopped carrot and broccoli and add some water to get cooked.Add soya sauce and salt.

  • Add cooked pasta and mixed herbs.Mix well.

  • Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes
  • You can add grated cheese for more taste.
  • Similarly you can add peas sweet corn and tomatoes along with broccoli.
  • If you have fresh or dried basil add that too for that extra flavour.
