MOR KUZHU

DSC02447

This Mor Kuzhu is an authentic recipe of yesteryears.Though many families still make it,it is quite new to many people so i thought of posting it.It can be had for breakfast or as an evening tiffin. My mother used to make it for me and it is still my favourite tiffin item. She used to tease me that even on my birthdays i would be pleased to have this compared to cakes or sweets.True amma's a master in that..Mor Kuzhu is so soft and fluffy and melts into your mouth and it gives great satisfaction for sudden hunger pangs, believe me it will take care of your hunger immediately. As i was craving for it one lazy afternoon,i made this and clicked as well.Even my hubby who is not a great fan of this enjoyed as well.Let us now move over to the recipe.

Notes
1.You can also use green chilles instead of red ones.
2.Make sure the buttermilk you are using is sour. The highlight of this dish is sourness.
3.I wanted squares so i kept the batter a little thick. As a variation you can slightly make athin batter than this by about 1/2 cup water more and proceed and instead of making squares you can take it out as upma and  enjoy.
