INGREDIENTS
| Paneer | 200 gms |
| Carrot | 1(cut into juiliennes) |
| Beans | 5 |
| Tomato | 2 |
| Capsicum | 1 |
| Onion | 1 |
| Red Chilli Powder | 1 tsp |
| Coriander Powder | 1/2 tsp |
| Garam Masala | 1/2 tsp |
| Ginger (grated) | 1 tsp |
| Turmeric Powder | 1/2 tsp |
| Oil | 2 tsp |
| Salt | to taste |
| Cumin seeds | 1/2 tsp |
| Lemon juice | 1 tsp |
| Coriander Leaves | to garnish |
| Kasoori Methi | 1/2 tsp(crushed) |
HOW TO MAKE
- Cut all the vegetables into juiliennes.Cut paneer and keep aside.In a pan add oil and jeera.Once it splutters add grated ginger and onions.Fry till they turn pink.Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,garam masala and coriander powder.
- Take one chopped tomato and put in a blender to form tomato puree.Add that to the sauted onions.
- Take all veggies in a vessel and adding water par boil them.After they are cooked,strain in a colander and add to the onion tomato mixture.
- Mix well and add now salt,kasoori methi and paneer cubes.Mix well and lemon juice.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Enjoy Paneer Jalfrezi with hot rotis.
Notes
- You can add baby corn,red and yellow capsicum also.
- Addition of tomato ketchup while sauteing is another variation,I didn’t add,but it gives nice red colour.
- Kasoori methi is dried fenugreek leaves and it imparts a nice aroma to the dish.
