BABYCORN MANCHURIAN WITH GRAVY/KIDS SPECIAL

Baby corn is one thing which is loved by all kids and with manchurian it tastes all the more tastier.I have one dry gobi manchurian in my blog,but this one is made with gravy and tastes good with any fried rice or can be eaten as a whole.I always make this whenever I make schezwan fried rice for my daughter who loves the combo.Iam posting this late,since I made this quite a while before.Baby corns are tender and takes less time to fry and tastes good to eat asit as well.See down below the recipe for Babycorn Manchurian gravy style and make it for your loved ones and enjoy..

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE BATTER

Maida 5tsp
Corn Flour 2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Grated Ginger 1/4 tsp
Grated Garlic 1/4 tsp
Cooking Soda a pinch

OTHER INGREDIENTS

Baby Corn 10
Onion 1
Capsicum 1
Soya Sauce 1/2 tsp
Tomato Sauce 1/2 tsp
Grated Garlic 1/4 tsp
Grated Ginger 1/4 tsp
Corn flour mixed with water 1 tsp
Oil 2 tsp+ for deep fryimg
Salt to taste
Coriander Leaves a few
Spring Onion(chopped) 4 tsp

HOW TO MAKE

  • Make batter with the ingredients given in the to make batter table adding a little water..Let the batter not be too thin.

  • Coat babycorn pieces well in the batter.In a pan add oil and when heated fry the coated babycorn pieces.

  • Take them out once golden brown.In a pan add oil and grated garlic and ginger.

  • Add now chopped onion followed by capsicum and tomato and soya sauces.

  • Add fried babycorn pieces now and then add chopped spring onion and freshly chopped coriander leaves.

  • Make a paste out of corn flour and water and add to form a gravy.Mix well.

  • Just before seving garnish with some more spring onions.

  • Baby corn Manchurian is ready to be enjoyed.

Notes

  • Adding green chilli sauce enhances the flavour.
  • Always make the gravy rich with sauces,never too thin.
  • Add salt as per taste as the sauces have salt content in them.
