POORI MASALA

DSC00051

This Poori Masala is the one they serve in the restuarants along with hot pooris. This is purely a south indian style side dish for poori.Though sometimes i serve this with hot rotis as well.If you don't make it watery and keep the potato masala a little dry you can serve this with rava idly as well. This dish is a hit combo when served during breakfast.I made this last week for our brunch.Let us see how this is made.

Notes
  • You can add peas or tomatoes to this dish while sauteing the onions.
  • At the time of garnishing you can squeeze half a lemon.
  • If the masala is watery add a mixture of gram flour/besan and water.
